Our chukka boots combine a simple upper with Red Wing’s classic Atlas Tred white crepe sole. Unlike other Red Wing boots, the Work Chukka was designed for lighter duty. Historically, the shoe would be used for inside work, primarily for finish carpenters. These woodworking craftsmen needed sturdy footwear as they labored to create the interior details of homes and offices. The white crepe sole allowed them to ply their trade and not leave a scratch on their finished work. The legacy lives on as this silhouette serves as the perfect office shoe and laidback weekend staple for every wardrobe.
